This is my final year project at staffordshire uni. Its a quake inspired retro first person shooter where the player must speed through a dungeon using their spells and kill ghouls.
This project highlights my ability to design and implement fun and engaging mechanics that still have depth. I developed this game using design philosophies from older games such as quake and applied modern game design principles to create a gameplay loop that is timeless and can be developed much further into a full game.
this page will showcase some gameplay of the finished final year project but also some fo the design and research that went into creating it.
